Deal Overview

Kaltura, Inc., a New York-based public company focused on agentic digital experiences, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PathFactory.ai in an add-on deal valued at $22 million. The acquisition is designed to extend Kaltura’s existing AI video and interactive media capabilities by adding PathFactory’s enterprise software for AI-driven content intelligence, personalization, and conversation automation. Kaltura expects the transaction to broaden the range of agentic engagement use cases it can support across customer, employee, and learner experiences.

PathFactory serves enterprise marketing and go-to-market teams with technology that analyzes user behavior, context, and intent to assemble and sequence personalized digital journeys across multiple data and media types. Its platform is used by more than 100 enterprise customers, including technology and consumer brands such as Nvidia, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and LG. The deal also positions Kaltura within the growing market for agentic AI automation, where conversation automation and journey orchestration are increasingly used to drive engagement and business outcomes.

While specific closing timing and advisor details were not provided, Kaltura said the combination of PathFactory’s AI capabilities with its rich media infrastructure and conversational avatar technology acquired earlier is intended to support an integrated platform approach. This would enable enterprises to create and govern rich media content libraries, apply intelligence to user intent, and dynamically deliver multimodal, personalized, conversational experiences across marketing, sales enablement, support, training, recruiting, and interactive audience engagement.
