Verint Acquired by Thoma Bravo — Technology M&A

Thoma Bravo has completed the acquisition of Verint, an enterprise software business in Israel, for $2 billion. Verint provides customer experience automation and related analytics used by enterprises to manage service operations and digital engagement, with a research and development footprint in Herzliya. Thoma Bravo acquisitions in enterprise software aim to scale AI-driven customer experience capabilities by integrating Verint with Calabrio, a portfolio company. The going private acquisition valued Verint at $20.50 per share and removed the Nasdaq-listed company from public markets, following board approval. After the take-private deal closed, Verint laid off hundreds of employees, including several dozen in Israel, as leadership transitioned to Dave Rhodes as CEO of the combined platform.
