Armagh Dental Clinic, a strategic healthcare buyer, has announced the acquisition of two local practices in Armagh, Northern Ireland: Thomas Lee Dental and the premises of Armagh Orthodontic Clinic. The deal is structured as an add-on acquisition, with the intention to merge the businesses into a single, consolidated dental operation. The transaction value has not been disclosed. The combined practice is expected to operate from the existing Armagh Orthodontic Clinic location on Loughgall Road, with Dr Thomas Lee relocating to work within the enlarged clinic, while Dr Jane Gormley remains available to complete ongoing orthodontic treatment.

The acquiring business is led by Banbridge-based dentist Dr Andrew Little, founder and principal dentist of Precision Implant Clinic, which specialises in dental implants, IV sedation and minor oral surgery. The move extends his footprint into Armagh and aligns with a stated focus on prevention and early intervention, as well as plans to broaden specialist services over time. The consolidation also targets operational improvements for patients, including reducing appointment waiting times and improving access to care through modernisation.

Armagh Dental Clinic plans to invest significantly in upgrading the premises and introducing digital equipment, with the future facility described as having seven surgery rooms. The clinic will retain existing staff teams, supporting total employment of more than 18 people, and aims to maintain continuity of care for current orthodontic and dental patients. No expected closing date was provided in the announcement.
