Tenor Therapy Acquired by Grow Therapy — Healthcare M&A

Grow Therapy has acquired Tenor Therapy, a behavioral health business in the United States, for $178 million. Grow Therapy is a virtual mental health platform, and Tenor Therapy provides HIPAA-compliant AI scribe technology that generates therapy notes and supports clinical documentation. The Grow Therapy acquisitions are intended to integrate AI documentation tools into its therapist and client workflow, replacing standalone note-taking capabilities. The strategic acquisition is structured as an add-on acquisition, with Tenor’s product slated to be sunset after Feb. 28 and clinicians advised to export data before March. Terms were not disclosed, and Grow Therapy indicated it will not operate standalone products once Tenor Therapy is fully integrated.
