Onit Security Raised Seed — Technology M&A

Onit Security has completed the acquisition of Onit Security, a vulnerability management business in cybersecurity in Israel, for $11 million. Onit Security develops an AI-driven cybersecurity platform that prioritizes software vulnerabilities using business and technical context to reduce remediation timelines from months to minutes. Founded in 2025 by Elad Ben-Meir, Ofer Amitai, and Tom Winter, the company targets the backlog-to-fix gap created when known vulnerabilities are deprioritized. The Seed round funding supports technology M&A strategy and other acquisition activity, with participation from prominent angel investors and leadership from Hetz Ventures and Brightmind Partners.
