TMB Commercial Property Management Launched — Real Estate Services M&A

Announced
Real Estate ServicesPlatform

Deal Overview

A new Scottish commercial property management platform, TMB Commercial Property Management, has been launched in Glasgow by a three-person founding team. The business is formed by Michael Martin and Marc Taylor, co-directors of residential factor Taylor & Martin, alongside Gregor Brown, founder of GM Brown. The company will initially manage a portfolio of commercial management instructions migrating from Taylor & Martin, with a focus on retail, office, industrial and business park assets across Scotland. The launch is supported by finance director Paul Clifford and senior property manager Gary Macdonald.

The move comes as commercial landlords continue to face pressure on yields, occupancy and overall asset performance, alongside heightened scrutiny of how properties are operated and maintained. By combining residential letting and factoring experience with commercial sales, leasing and consultancy expertise, the founders aim to position TMB as a specialist operator for landlords seeking consistent management outcomes. The platform also reflects ongoing consolidation and capability-building within real estate services in the UK, particularly in regional markets such as Scotland where local relationships and service quality can be differentiating factors.

Deal size and formal transaction terms were not disclosed, as this is an announced platform launch rather than a disclosed acquisition. TMB is already operational with an established book of commercial management instructions, and the company’s early growth plans are expected to be driven by referrals and ongoing migration of management work from the founders’ existing activities.
