Polymeric US Acquired by Nocopi Technologies | Manufacturing M&A Deal

Nocopi Technologies has acquired Polymeric US, a industrial equipment business in Pennsylvania, for $2.65 million. Nocopi Technologies acquisitions expand specialty reactive inks and customized coatings capabilities through the Polymeric US acquisition, adding complementary formulation technology and manufacturing capacity in the Midwest. Polymeric US, founded in 1993, develops and manufactures specialty inks and customized coatings for a diversified customer base, strengthening Nocopi’s industrial equipment acquisition strategy in PA. The add on acquisition is announced as a strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, with $1.75 million cash at closing, $0.75 million in Nocopi equity, and a $0.15 million holdback, plus an additional investment by an affiliate of Horizon Kinetics.
