Stratasys has completed the acquisition of MarkForged, a industrial equipment business in Minnesota, for $42.5 million. Stratasys acquisitions aim to expand manufacturing M&A capabilities in aerospace and defense by adding MarkForged’s end-to-end Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) solutions, including the Digital Forge platform with hardware, in-house materials, simulation, part management, and automated print optimization. MarkForged acquisition also strengthens production-grade additive manufacturing at scale using Continuous Carbon Fiber technology, supporting industrial equipment production workflows in Minnetonka, MN and Rehovot, Israel.
