Plymouth Industrial REIT Acquired by Makarora — Real Estate M&A

Makarora has completed the acquisition of Plymouth Industrial REIT, a real estate services other business in New York, for $2.1 billion. Makarora acquires Plymouth Industrial REIT to expand exposure to commercial real estate assets and industrial-focused real estate services, with Plymouth no longer listed on a public exchange after the merger acquisition. Plymouth Industrial REIT provides industrial property investment and REIT operations, supporting real estate services M&A activity in NY acquisitions. The merger acquisition is an all-cash private equity acquisition with Ares Alternative Credit funds participating, valuing shares at $22.00 each, and was completed as a closed deal after prior announcement. Financial and legal advisors included KeyBanc Capital Markets and J.P. Morgan Securities for Plymouth, with Moelis & Company as lead financial advisor to Makarora.
