Lantheus SPECT business Acquired by SHINE Technologies — Healthcare M&A

SHINE Technologies has completed the acquisition of the Lantheus SPECT business, a medical devices business in the United States, for $89 million. SHINE Technologies acquisitions expand its healthcare M&A footprint in nuclear medicine imaging by adding SPECT systems and related capabilities. The Lantheus SPECT business acquisition supports diagnostic workflows for clinicians using single-photon emission computed tomography. As a divestiture acquisition, the deal fits SHINE Technologies’ medical devices acquisition strategy and strengthens its platform in healthcare imaging. Deal terms were closed, with the reported consideration totaling $82 million to $89 million.
