Hotel Joaquin Acquired by Common Thread Hotels — Real Estate M&A

Common Thread Hotels has completed the acquisition of Hotel Joaquin, a real estate services other business in California, for an undisclosed amount. Common Thread Hotels acquisitions expand its luxury boutique hotel footprint in Laguna Beach, where Hotel Joaquin operates 22 guestrooms plus a bar and saltwater pool near Shaw’s Cove. The add on acquisition brings a design-driven property that underwent a major 2019 redesign, supporting immediate operations for the buyer’s leisure hospitality strategy. The private equity acquisition is an add-on acquisition for Common Thread Hotels, which now counts 10 hotels in its portfolio and an 11th in pre-development in downtown Paso Robles.
