Standard Dental Labs Inc., a Florida-based dental laboratory platform, has completed the acquisition of BRLIT Dental Laboratory, Inc., a family-owned full-service dental lab headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. The deal is structured as an add-on acquisition and is now closed; the transaction value was not disclosed. BRLIT, founded in 1977 and operated for nearly five decades, supports dentists with a range of restorative services including crowns and bridges, implant restorations, zirconia and e.max full-contour work, dentures and partials, and appliance repairs.

The acquisition strengthens Standard Dental Labs’ footprint in the US dental laboratory services market, where clinical quality, turnaround reliability, and long-standing practitioner relationships are key differentiators. BRLIT’s emphasis on in-house fabrication in the United States and its continuity-focused operating model align with SDL’s stated goal of preserving established lab practices while adding access to broader platform resources. The combination also reflects ongoing consolidation trends in dental services, particularly among platforms seeking to scale through partnerships with well-regarded regional operators.

Standard Dental Labs said the transaction was designed to maintain continuity for BRLIT’s staff and customers, including preserving the existing operating structure and client relationships. BRLIT will continue operating under its client-focused approach and technical standards while benefiting from SDL’s compliance infrastructure and long-term growth platform.
