Cambridge Investment Research has announced the acquisition of WealthPlanners, LLC as an add-on within its wealth-management platform. The company frames the deal as supporting advisor continuity and succession planning.

WealthPlanners will be integrated into Cambridge’s RIA operating model to maintain ongoing client service while enabling leadership transition planning for the advisor team.
