Valley Electric Acquired by MYR Group | Industrials M&A Deal

MYR Group has acquired Valley Electric, a electrical contracting business in Washington state and California, for $328 million. Valley Electric provides end-to-end electrical installation, design-build, and preventative maintenance for critical infrastructure, transportation, and industrial and commercial end markets across the Western United States. MYR Group acquisitions in electrical contracting expand specialty contractor capabilities serving utility infrastructure and mission-critical projects. The divestiture acquisition is a strategic acquisition by MYR Group, with closing expected on or about July 1, 2026, subject to net asset and purchase price adjustments and potential earn-out payments, following Prospect Capital’s investment since 2012.
