ZenaTech has signed an offer to acquire an Alberta, Canada-based land surveying and geomatics company, a SaaS-enabled technology business in Canada, for $2.3 billion. The target provides geospatial land surveying, mapping, and drone-based inspection services for Western Canadian oil and gas producers across multiple provinces, supporting surveying, mapping, and infrastructure monitoring. ZenaTech acquisitions focus on expanding Drone as a Service into the oil and gas drone inspection market, using AI drone technology and enterprise SaaS to enhance inspections and environmental support workflows. The strategic acquisition is positioned as a platform acquisition by a strategic technology buyer, with the proposed deal valued above $100M and expected to close following customary conditions.
