Compu Dynamics Modular Acquires R&D Specialties

Compu Dynamics Modular (CDM) has acquired a majority stake in R&D Specialties, an ISO and UL-certified manufacturer of control panels, modular electrical systems, and data center modules based in Odessa, Texas. The deal is intended to expand CDM’s design engineering and manufacturing capabilities for prefabricated, AI-ready modular data center solutions across North America.

CDM positions its modular infrastructure as the default strategy for AI-ready deployments, citing the need for speed, density, and efficiency in IT, AI, and HPC applications. R&D Specialties is described as engineering-first and focused on mission-critical environments, with custom-engineered modular power and control panel delivery.
