Summa Equity Acquires Peoplesafe from ECI

Peoplesafe, a Surrey-headquartered workplace safety provider, has been acquired by Summa Equity from ECI Partners through an investment from the 2.3 billion Summa Equity Fund III. Founded in 2001, Peoplesafe protects over 350,000 workers across the UK, US, and Canada.

The company reported revenues of £22.6 million in its last financial year and serves private and public sector customers in industries including healthcare, utilities, and real estate. Peoplesafe’s technology platforms include Nexus and Lighthouse, supported by mobile apps, a 24/7 in-house alarm receiving centre, and dedicated devices.

Over the past year, Peoplesafe launched Travelsafe, an employee travel safety app, and Roamsafe to maintain connectivity in low-signal areas.
