Noble Acquired by PS Logistics — Logistics M&A

PS Logistics, through its DMT Trucking LLC subsidiary, has completed the acquisition of Noble LLC, Noble Trucking LLC, and Noble Logistics LLC, an add-on transaction focused on expanding PS Logistics’ 53-foot flatbed footprint. Noble is headquartered in Scottsboro, Alabama, and brings roughly 100 trucks and 135 53-foot aluminum flatbed trailers to the combined platform. The deal size was not disclosed, and financial terms were not provided.

The acquisition strengthens PS Logistics’ position in the overlength 53-foot lightweight flatbed market, an area where carriers can differentiate through specialized equipment and service coverage. PS Logistics has pursued a buy-and-integrate strategy since 2014, and the Noble combination is intended to broaden its overlength capabilities across its freight network in the U.S., leveraging additional power units and trailer capacity.

While the transaction terms were not disclosed, the company positioned the combination of DMT Trucking and Noble as a scale step toward becoming one of the largest 53-foot flatbed carriers in the country, citing an expanded fleet base of about 400 power units and 1,000 trailers. The announcement indicates the deal is completed, with integration expected to support continued growth in PS Logistics’ flatbed and overlength services.
