Ardent Health has completed the acquisition of NextCare Urgent Care clinics in New Mexico, a urgent care business in New Mexico. Lovelace Health System’s Lovelace Medical Group later closed the Taos, NM urgent care location, following the Ardent Health acquisitions of multiple NextCare sites across New Mexico. NextCare Urgent Care operated walk-in urgent care services, and Ardent Health acquisitions reflected a strategic acquisition of urgent care acquisition platforms in NM acquisitions. The divestiture acquisition was completed as a strategic acquisition by a strategic buyer, and the Taos closure occurred about one year after the healthcare M&A deal, with deal size undisclosed.
