Low Energy Services Acquired by Good Energy — Energy M&A

Announced
EnergyAdd-on

Deal Overview

Good Energy, a UK supplier of 100% renewable electricity and energy services provider, has acquired Low Energy Services in an add-on deal to expand its footprint in Scotland. Low Energy Services, a commercial solar panel installer serving Scotland and the North East of England, will be integrated into the Good Energy brand. The transaction size was not disclosed, and the acquisition is announced.

The move extends Good Energy’s strategy to scale its solar and storage offerings nationwide following a series of recent acquisitions that brought other regional solar businesses into the group. Low Energy Services’ established presence in Scotland aligns with growing demand for small-scale solar and broader renewable generation growth in the region, supporting Good Energy’s aim to serve commercial customers seeking sustainable energy solutions and potentially improved economics from rooftop solar.

Good Energy previously expanded its platform through acquisitions including Empower Energy, Amelio Solar, Wessex Eco Energy and JPS Renewable Energy over the past 18 months, and it has also pursued smart grid capabilities through its earlier acquisition of Esyasoft. Low Energy Services’ management and team are expected to continue operating within the expanded group, with the integration designed to provide additional backing and scale for growth in the UK commercial solar market.
