Genius Sports has completed the acquisition of Legend, a enterprise software business in Nevada, for $1.2 billion. Genius Sports acquires Legend to expand its sports data and digital gaming media platform, including marketing and fan data infrastructure used across sportsbook and gaming brands. Legend operates an AI-powered fan data platform and syndicates sports and betting content through major publishers, generating 320 million annual visits from 118 million unique visitors with high returning traffic. The Genius Sports acquisitions are a strategic acquisition and platform acquisition valued up to $1.2 billion, closing on May 1, 2026, after a deal first announced in February.
