Kelly Johnson Design Acquired by Castle Design

Castle Design, founded in 2003 and focused on award-winning, high-end residential interior design, announced its acquisition of St. Louis-based Kelly Johnson Design on Jan. 1, 2026.

The combination merges talent and experience across the two interior design practices. Founder Emily Castle expects additional expertise in new construction to become a lucrative niche, targeting 20 percent of her firm’s business.
