IOTrader Acquired by Animoca Brands | Technology M&A Deal

Animoca Brands has completed the acquisition of IOTrader, a enterprise software business in Singapore, for $3.8M. IOTrader operates an on-chain trading platform on BNB Smart Chain that combines perpetual futures, prediction markets, custom event markets, and AI-assisted trading in a single wallet experience for tens of thousands of monthly traders. The protocol has processed over $1B in cumulative trading volume and ranks among the top 20 perpetual DEXs by activity, supporting a strategic acquisition by Animoca Brands ahead of the IOI token launch. This other acquisition is a strategic acquisition led by a strategic buyer, with additional investors including ViaBTC Capital, Everwood Capital, CANDAQ, WAGMI Ventures, Credit Scend, and Web3 Labs, and the smart contracts have completed a third-party security audit.
