Trinity Logistics, a Delaware-based third-party logistics provider, has announced the acquisition of Minnesota freight agent Granite Logistics. The deal is structured as an add-on acquisition and brings Granite’s team and regional footprint into Trinity’s operations. Granite Logistics, which has served as a long-standing agent partner to Trinity for nearly 14 years, operates offices in Sartell and Minneapolis, and the transaction is expected to add approximately 135 employees with more than 600 years of combined experience. Trinity also plans to designate Granite’s two Minnesota locations as new Regional Service Centers.

Granite Logistics specializes in flatbed, over-dimensional, and heavy haul freight, aligning with Trinity’s broader logistics and transportation services. The acquisition strengthens Trinity’s presence in the Upper Midwest and expands its capacity to support shippers and carriers in equipment-intensive segments where specialized brokerage and operational expertise are often critical. For Granite, the transition reflects a shift from agent partnership to full integration within a strategic 3PL platform.
