Goonhilly Earth Station Acquired by Intuitive Machines | Technology M&A Deal

Intuitive Machines has entered into the acquisition of Goonhilly Earth Station, a technology other business in the United Kingdom, for $15M. Intuitive Machines acquisitions expand deep-space communications services through Goonhilly’s lunar and deep space ground station network, including Goonhilly USA (COMSAT) operations. The target supports GEO missions and provides communications, data transport, and position, navigation and timing (PNT) capabilities for sustained lunar and cislunar operations. This platform acquisition is a strategic acquisition by a space-focused strategic buyer, adding major UK visibility across Earth-viewing arcs and strengthening antenna planning, scheduling, and station maintenance. The announced technology M&A deal includes Goonhilly Lunar and Deep Space Communications, Commercial Satcom, and Defense and Security divisions, with completion expected after a definitive agreement.
