Fluker Transportation Acquired by PS Logistics — Logistics M&A

PS Logistics, through its subsidiary Blair Logistics, has acquired Fluker Transportation in an announced add-on transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed. Fluker, a founder-owned trucking company based in Hammond, Louisiana, specializes in flatbed and heavy-haul shipping, serving customers with freight tied to steel, construction equipment and defense-related loads across the southeastern United States. Following the acquisition, Fluker will operate under the Blair Logistics name.

The deal expands PS Logistics’ flatbed and heavy-haul footprint and adds routes and customer relationships that are described as complementary to Blair’s existing network. For PS Logistics, which operates a hybrid model spanning asset-based trucking, brokerage and third-party logistics, the acquisition fits its strategy of partnering with family- and founder-led carriers to strengthen capacity and support service continuity in a freight market that has been challenging for many operators.

Fluker’s management and employees are expected to integrate into Blair Logistics’ operating platform, with the transaction positioned to deliver operational synergies and expanded freight options for drivers. The announcement did not specify a closing date or named financial or legal advisors.
