OceanFirst and Flushing Merger Approvals Received

OceanFirst Financial Corp. and Flushing Financial Corp. announced they have received the requisite shareholder approvals for their previously announced merger transaction. The companies also reported that New York State Department of Financial Services and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency granted their approvals on March 23, 2026 and April 6, 2026, respectively.

The transaction remains subject to receipt of the requisite regulatory approval from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and other customary closing conditions. OceanFirst is the holding company for OceanFirst Bank N.A., and Flushing is the holding company for Flushing Bank.
