Endospan Acquired by Artivion | Healthcare M&A Deal

Artivion has completed the acquisition of Endospan, a medical devices business in the U.S., for $131.3 million. Endospan developed the Nexus Aortic Arch System, a branched endovascular stent graft for minimally invasive treatment of aortic arch disease, following FDA premarket approval in April. Artivion acquires Endospan to expand its aortic arch portfolio and pursue a targeted $150 million annual U.S. addressable market for Nexus, with U.S. launch planned for January. The strategic acquisition is structured as a healthcare M&A deal with $131.3 million upfront and up to $200 million in commercial success payments over the next two years, after earlier loans and an option framework tied to FDA approval.
