DispatchHealth Imaging Acquired by TridentCare — Healthcare M&A

TridentCare, a strategic provider of portable diagnostic services, announced the acquisition of DispatchHealth’s imaging business unit in an add-on transaction. The deal is effective January 20, 2026, with terms not disclosed. DispatchHealth Imaging operates portable X-ray and ultrasound services across 16 states, serving patients in home-based, post-acute and correctional settings. The acquisition is designed to expand TridentCare’s geographic coverage and in-home diagnostic capacity.

Both companies operate in the healthcare diagnostics imaging market, focused on delivering care outside traditional hospital settings. TridentCare provides mobile diagnostic services including X-ray, ultrasound, cardiac monitoring, vascular access and laboratory testing, while DispatchHealth is known for complex care in the home and coordinating services to help reduce avoidable emergency department and hospital utilization. By bringing DispatchHealth’s imaging capabilities and customer base into TridentCare’s national infrastructure, the combined platform aims to improve scheduling, response times and service standardization for providers and patients.

The announcement does not specify a purchase price or other financial terms. DispatchHealth will continue coordinating mobile imaging for patients through its technology and partnerships, while TridentCare integrates the imaging unit’s resources to strengthen its portable diagnostics footprint.
