Carter Cadillac of Chicago Acquired by Jack Carter Automotive Group | Consumer M&A Deal

Jack Carter Automotive Group has completed the acquisition of Carter Cadillac of Chicago, a auto dealership business in Illinois, for $15.5 million. Carter Cadillac of Chicago will operate a Cadillac-branded dealership in Chicago’s city limits at 1400 West North Avenue, expanding luxury vehicle retail in the consumer auto dealership market. The Jack Carter Automotive Group acquisitions strategy supports a platform acquisition for a new Cadillac outlet about three miles northwest of The Loop, where there are currently six Cadillac dealerships in the suburbs. The announced platform acquisition is being developed for a late-2027 opening, with the site previously tied to the Lincoln Yards land plans and later repositioned after project setbacks.
