ArcLight Capital Partners Acquired by DigitalBridge | Energy M&A Deal

Announced
EnergyPlatform

Deal Overview

DigitalBridge has acquired ArcLight Capital Partners, a energy services other business in Massachusetts, for $1.05 billion. ArcLight Capital Partners is a private power generation company with about 20.8 GW of owned capacity as of June and roughly 7 GW in PJM, supporting data center power demand. DigitalBridge acquisitions target energy M&A exposure by adding alternative power assets and a ~15-GW project pipeline to its digital infrastructure platform. The platform acquisition is structured as a separately managed business within DigitalBridge, and it is conditioned on a SoftBank affiliate purchase of DigitalBridge plus standard antitrust waiting-period clearance.
