Ally Pediatric Therapy Acquired by ACES — Healthcare M&A

Announced
HealthcareArizonaAdd-on

Deal Overview

ACES, a national applied behavior analysis (ABA) platform, announced the acquisition of Phoenix-based Ally Pediatric Therapy in an add-on deal. The transaction size was not disclosed, though the reported figure is approximately $34.1 million. Following the acquisition, ACES plans to discontinue Ally’s in-house multidisciplinary pediatric services, including speech, occupational therapy and feeding therapy, and shift those functions to external care coordination through community providers. ACES said it will provide transition support for families currently receiving physical health services to help maintain continuity of care.

The move strengthens ACES’ presence in Arizona and aligns Ally’s operating model with ACES’ ABA-only approach. Ally operates as a multispecialty autism therapy provider serving children and families, and the integration is intended to deepen access to ABA services while leveraging ACES’ clinical tools and support for care teams. ACES, founded in 1996, already operates across multiple states and, after the deal, will expand its clinic footprint in Arizona by adding Ally’s locations to its existing network.

ACES also indicated that Ally’s clinical and operational leadership will remain in place, with plans to add additional Arizona clinics and invest in further tools and training for clinicians. The transaction was supported by SBJ Capital’s prior investment in Ally (in 2022) and was facilitated by advisors Berkery Noyes and O’Melveny & Myers for Ally, and Bass Berry & Sims for ACES. The announcement did not specify a closing date.
